In a recent column we speculated there’d be no new Galaxy Note this year. Or ever again. Take a look.
Loyal customers are upset at the prospect. There’s already a “Save the Note” petition on Change.org!
Last week DJ Koh, Samsung’s CEO confirmed that prediction saying, “It could be a burden to unveil two flagship models in a year so it might be difficult to release a new Note model.”
Could also be the ongoing chip shortage and not enough components for Samsung to mass produce a new Note as well as all their other phones.
Mr. Koh suggested, “The disparity between the supply of parts and demand in the information technology side is severe.”
It’s worth pointing out, so is disappointing loyal customers.
