It was either Helen Keller or King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden who said, “Nobody can do everything, but everyone can do something.”

Doing something is good. Witness (most of) the world’s reaction to the crisis in Ukraine. It’s called “social responsibility.”

For individuals, Social Responsibility (CSR without the C) is a no-brainer. Or should be. It’s more complex for brands.

Want to see how? Take this Social Responsibility test appearing in The Customer, and see which SR/CSR options best serve you and your brand.

Anyway, go do something good.

BTW, it was definitely Henry David Thoreau who said, “Goodness is the only investment that never fails,” probably because it’s not only what we do, but also what we do not do, for which we are ultimately accountable.
